We appreciate your generous contribution(s) throughout this year that has been marked by unique challenges. With your support, we will always find ways to fight for you, your dogs, and your rights.

 

The American Kennel Club Political Action Committee (AKC PAC) is a non-partisan, single-issue political organization dedicated to supporting pro-breeder public policy and lawmakers who value and protect the rights of responsible dog owners, breeders, and enthusiasts. 100% of contributions to the PAC go directly to helping put dog-friendly legislators in statehouses, Congress, and local communities across the nation. In races we can report on, 85% of the campaigns we supported in 2020 won.

 

Our PAC demonstrates that dog owners will hold their representatives accountable for how they vote on dog issues, and that they stand behind leaders who share our beliefs. To further help explain what our PAC does, please watch this brief one-minute video. 

 

Although you cannot earmark funds for a specific candidate, as a contributor, you can recommend legislators to the AKC Government Relations Team or AKC PAC Board whom you believe deserve AKC PAC support! You can also help raise awareness about the AKC PAC to those around you. This time last year, Barb from Michigan, not only got 100% participation from one of her clubs, but full participation from TWO clubs. Campaigns Supported & Election Statistics

This year was a busy one; the AKC PAC made 55 contributions to various federal, state, and local candidates in 2020. Two campaign outcomes have not yet been determined; however, 85% of the AKC PAC-support candidates have won their races for those that have results finalized.
